the trouble with having the most perfect bathroom is that i’m never going to want to move house and as a serial mover... absolutely love the fabricated unit that ripplesbathrooms commissioned for this project using the coverlam tiles that perfectly match the copper bath of dreams from bcdesignsuk it really does make me smile every time i walk into the room. the tedtoddfloors from barbersflooring is just the best flooring we have ever used - hence currently in 50% of the house! as the bath is in a separate space to the main bathroom, we decided to use wood flooring and it’s been fantastic (we are very careful not to splash much and wipe any as soon as we’ve finished!).

heres my 5 tips on how to get your lighting just right:

1. what room/ space and purpose is your lighting for? in our dining toom for example, we have a couple of lamps for a softer glow which helps mark the transition of day, into the evening. our @industville pendant; in a pewter finish, reflects the light beautifully. hanging it as low as possible illuminates the food and feels intimate and inviting.

Having an old house definitely caused extra problems for us. we needed to replace the walls and floors before we could get anywhere started 🙄. We've went for Victorian emerald glass tiles in the shower and on the sink unit. Black Catalan tiles on the floor.
Walls are painted in farrow and ball Setting plaster colour matched by decoratingcentreonline which was great service and is the exact colour of FB.

Since moving into our house almost 2 years ago, the bathroom has been the best transformation so far... To begin with this room was a small bedroom at the front of the house. The original bathroom was at the back. However, that has since been knocked down and rebuilt to become our new master bedroom.
