August 2025 - we are still making progress with all the never ending list of jobs to do around the house. We have put the samsunguk TV up in the sitting room, which can pivot to be seen in the breakfast and kitchen if required. If anyone needs an anti glare TV we can’t recommend the Samsung S95 range enough, it’s amazing how easy it is to see the picture on a bright sunny day! ☀️📺
amberelectrical.beds have been back to install the ceiling speakers in the cinema room and the lg_uk TV has been mounted. We are just waiting for everything to be connected up and commissioned to hopefully get the full surround sound experience. Then we can put all the panelling up to hide everything. 🤞
They have also finished off the nordlux external lights on the outdoor kitchen and installed the industville pendants inside. The builders have also added the external bar so people can keep the bbq chef company 🍻🥂🍸🍹🍷🍸

FLASHBACK FRIDAY.
I found these behind the scenes photos on my phone and realised I had never shared them 🤣 I read an article yesterday about progress over perfection and I am definitely guilty of thinking 'I will share when it's perfect' but then I never think it is so I never do. 🙈
This was the primary bedroom scheme that I created bespoke wardrobes and an upholstered headboard wall for, in order to create the uncluttered boutique bedroom my client was hoping for. The artwork that you can see in the mirror was the inspiration for the ochre accents within the neutral scheme and informed the design decision to create the headboard as a way to display them. As they wanted it to feel 'light and airy' I opted against picking out all of the other colours and chose a more tonal palette instead, warmed up by the brass and gold accents. Of course, we colour drenched in Portland Stone Pale for a cocooning, high end feel and we created a little dressing area next to the en suite to maximise the floorspace. I then styled the headboard with vintage and antique pieces sourced from France for the global traveller influence that we wanted to incorporate, as the artwork was from their travels in Ghana.
